Why do I need to pre-register my vehicle(s)?
To enhance Members’ parking experience, RFID technology has been implemented at the car park. You must pre-register the license plate number(s) of the vehicle(s) with the Vehicle Registration document, as proof of ownership under Individual or Corporate Membership, in order to drive in and out of the car park. A designated RFID tag will be assigned to each registered vehicle, which is not transferable.
How many vehicles can I register? Can I pay to register additional vehicles?
Each Membership account can register up to five (5) vehicles and only one registered vehicle per membership can be parked at any one time at the Club.
Is there any fee for registration?
Annual Parking Permit Fee for the first car at HK$2,000 per annum, per membership. Parking Permits for additional cars [maximum of four (4) cars] can be applied for at HK$500 per car, per annum. Billing for the Parking Permit(s) will be on annual basis with auto-renewal unless prior cancellation.
What is the fee charged if I need to update my license plate number?
There is no fee imposed for the maximum of two updates of your license plate number registered for each RFID car tag within the corresponding year per membership. For each subsequent update within the same year, an administration fee of HK$150 will be levied.
How can I cancel my car tag(s)?
In case of cancellation for the car tag, you must submit the completed ‘Car Parking Tag Cancellation Form’ together with the relevant car tag to Membership Office before the end of corresponding cycle. Forms may be obtained from Member’s website <here>. Otherwise, the Club reserves the right to continue charging the relevant annual fee for the tag.
Do I get any refunds if the cancellation of parking permits is made within the corresponding year?
Only Members who have relinquished their Membership will be rebated on pro-rated basis, otherwise no refunds shall be made for the corresponding cycle.
I have purchased a new vehicle with a new number plate. What should I do?
Please update us by completing and returning the Change of Registered Car Application Form / Additional Car Parking Tag Application Form, which you may download from Member’s website <here>. You may continue to use the same RFID car tag after the new License Plate Number is updated by the Club. However change of car registration sticker for updated vehicle on car tag is required. For assistance please contact 2118 1802.
What will I receive upon the completion of my registration?
You will receive the designated RFID car tag for each registered vehicle. You may collect the RFID car tag(s) at the G/F Reception Desk of Clubhouse.
How long are the car parking tags valid for?
The car parking tag is durable and meant to last for a few years; hence, it minimizes the inconvenience of having to replace it every year. However change of the battery will be required. For regular use car tag, it is recommended to replace it every year.
What if my registered vehicle is under repair and I have to use an alternative vehicle. Can I still use the Club’s car park?
Non-registered vehicles use of Club’s car park is prohibited. Please update us by completing and returning the Change of Registered Car Application Form, which you may download from Member’s Website <here>.
I do not drive or own any vehicle and rely on my children and relatives, none of whom are Members, to take me to the clubhouse. Can their cars allow to access the clubhouse car park?
Non-registered vehicles may access the Club for drop-off and pick-up only with a grace period of 15 minutes. However, those vehicles (limited to one car) may be registered under your membership subject to providing proof of relationship, vehicle registration document and authorization letter from car owner.
I own more than five vehicles. Can I register additional vehicles beyond the five vehicles permitted?
Members are recommended to register the five vehicles they use most often.
How many free parking hours do I entitle to?
Each Membership is entitled to a total of three (3) hours of free parking per day (Monday - Sunday), irrespective of the number of cars registered under that Membership. i.e. the number of daily free hours is based on the Membership not on the number of cars registered. The three (3) free hours of parking are accumulative and can be utilized for multiple entries on the same day and cannot be carried forward.
What if I park beyond my free parking hours at the Club?
Parking beyond the three (3) free hours of parking on any given day, will be charged at HK$50 per hour or part thereof for that day.
How can I offset the extra parking fees?
Members can redeem one (1) hour of HK$50 charged parking fee for every HK$200 of unlimited monthly discretionary expenses (excluding monthly subscription). Excess monthly discretionary expenses cannot be carried forward to the following month. Redemption value will be credited to the Member’s account in the corresponding month.
What is the procedure for loss of car tag?
Please complete the Replacement of Car Parking Tag Application Form and submit it to the Membership Department for processing. Forms may be obtained from Member’s Website <here>, via email to membership@pacificclub.com.hk or by calling 2118 1802. The cost is HK$500 per tag.
My vehicle is no longer in use, what should I do?
If you are not purchasing a new vehicle with a new number plate, please update us by submitting the completed Car Parking Tag Cancellation Form, which you may download from Member’s Website <here>, via email to membership@pacificclub.com.hk or by calling 2118 1802. Please return the respective RFID tag to Membership Department.
Is the Valet Parking Service available for Members?
Valet parking service is free-of-charge and available to eligible Member’s registered vehicles, which have applied for corresponding car tags.
